As part of our Mission-Driven Developer Program, we’ve designed an event specifically for developers, focusing on utilizing modular construction to build new affordable, mixed-income, and workforce housing in their communities.
Our goal with this event is to streamline the integration of modular construction into new projects, specifically focusing on affordable, mixed-income, and workforce housing. We aim to simplify the process for developers by demonstrating the tangible benefits and scalability of modular construction, reducing perceived risks typically associated with this building method.
The event is free and is part of our work with the Fannie Mae Sustainable Communities Challenge & the Wells Fargo Affordable Housing Breakthrough Challenge.
The first portion of the day will consist of invite-only developer training and tours. The tour will provide developers with a firsthand look at the practical application and impact of modular construction in various neighborhoods. Attendees will have a chance to walk through a finished home and one undergoing on-site finishes. They will gain further insight into Module’s Construction Playbook and have the opportunity to engage in group discussions with Module’s team.
To close out the day, we've opened the invite to the community to join us at our Last Mile Facility in Carnegie, where we will have just begun manufacturing 2 homes for Reverend Walls of Amani Christian Community Development, who is developing two affordable for-sale homes in the Hill District (near Bedford Dwellings). At the Last Mile Facility, we will provide light snacks and refreshments, hear from several leaders in the community, and announce the awardees of the Mission-Driven Developer Program.
Invites to unlock the developer-only ticket have been sent. If you're interested in attending this portion of the event, and haven't received an exclusive link, reach out to info@modulehousing.com.
