Prototypes, Podcasts, and Pitching

We are in the midst of an exciting summer at Module, so we’d like to share part of our journey with you. This message is the first in a series of monthly newsletters we will send out to friends and supporters. If you would like to stay in the loop, please subscribe. If not, then you can unsubscribe below.

For those of you who didn’t hear, we won the MIT Enterprise Forum Pitchfest here in Pittsburgh! It was our first pitch to a public audience, and we would like the thank the Enterprise Forum for helping young companies like ours get started.

This month, we were selected as one of three companies that local startup accelerator Idea Foundry chose for its Intersector Program. The program includes 12 weeks of mentorship, business development services, and an investment in the form of a convertible note.

We’ve also been busy building models to demonstrate our concept. Thanks to Eric Fisher of Fisher Architects for some inspiration and to Upper St. Clair High School for letting us use their shop!

Lastly, for those of you who want to know more about the people behind Module, one of our co-founders Brian was recently featured on Pittsburgh’s "DI Podcast." Radio host Raymond Bowman takes listeners on a journey into Brian’s backstory as a designer.

Please stay tuned for another installment in July!

Sincerely,
Brian + Drew
